George Altmann. George is a 3rd-year B.Sc. student in the UCL Department of Economics. At the G-Lab, he is working on the collection of archival data on historical public health programmes.
Nancy A. Daza Báez. Nancy is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the UCL Department of Economics. At the G-Lab, she is working on a project that aims to study the effects of pollution and greenspace exposure in utero on fetal and postnatal development, and to assess the cost/benefits of pollution and greenspace exposure during pregnancy. She is also working on a project that looks to understand the emergence and development of child obesity examining the intersection of nutrition, exercise, and genetics.
Arianna Savo. Arianna is a pre-doc at UCL. She studied Economics at Bocconi University. She is working on the “Empowering Home Visitors in Early Intervention: Impact Evaluation of Teacher Training and Use of Technology on Childhood Development – Evidence from the SAFPI Programme in Ecuador” project. Her tasks include monitoring intervention implementation and data analysis.
Emma Scandolo. Emma is a 1st year PhD student at UCL Economics. She is working on the cost of gender-based violence, supporting the work of the Lancet Commission on GBV and CYP Maltreatment.
Khanh Trinh. Khanh is a 3rd year BSc Economics student from Vietnam. He is still in the process of exploring his research interests, but particularly enjoys applied macroeconomics and development economics. He is currently working on the collection of historical public health data in the UK at the G-Lab.
Gabriel Weber Costa. Gabriel is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the UCL Department of Economics. At the G-Lab, he is working on a study that aims to evaluate the causal effects of Start for Life, a recent programme targeting the early years in 75 Local Authorities in England, on parents and children’s outcomes. He is also working on a related study to evaluate how incorporating different workforce models within the programme impacts outcomes.
