George Altmann. George is a post-B.Sc. researcher. At the G-Lab, he has been leading for years on the collection and analysis of archival data on historical public health programmes.
Winston Ho. Winston is a final-year BASc Arts and Sciences student with interests in complexity economics and international trade. He is currently working on a research project investigating the determinants of early menopause across countries.
Fatima Najeeb. Fatima is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working on the causal effects of menopause and perimenopause on women’s health and economic wellbeing. Her broader research interests include gender, family and household economics, health and human capital, and the impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations.
Yang Qui. Yang is a third-year PhD student who is doing research on menopause and HRT.
Emma Scandolo. Emma is a 5th year PhD student at UCL Economics. She is working on the cost of gender-based violence, supporting the work of the Lancet Commission on GBV and CYP Maltreatment.
Julian Simon Marquez. Julian is a third-year BSc Economics with a Year Abroad student at UCL, currently on exchange at the University of Texas at Austin. At the G-Lab, he is working on a project examining the provision of children’s mental health services in England. His tasks include collecting and cleaning data, building Python workflows, and carrying out data analysis.
Navin NagarajanSubramanian. Navin is a 2nd-year BSc Philosophy, Politics and Economics Student with Social Data Science at the Department of Political Science in UCL. At the G-Lab, he is working on collecting and sorting regional and clinic-specific data for menopause specialists across the UK.
Gabriel Weber Costa. Gabriel is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the UCL Department of Economics. At the G-Lab, he is working on a study that aims to evaluate the causal effects of Start for Life, a recent programme targeting the early years in 75 Local Authorities in England, on parents and children’s outcomes. He is also working on a related study to evaluate how incorporating different workforce models within the programme impacts outcomes.
Tai Wu. Tai is a PhD student in the UCL Department of Economics. At the G-Lab, he is working on developing automated ML methods to decode data from non-test scores measures of children.
